Ston daskalo mas... me agapi (1969)

Deserted by immigration and nearly abandoned by the locals, an isolated village somewhere in the rugged and mountainous Greek province becomes the new home of an idealist young schoolteacher. Up against prejudice, superstition, and the sinister machinations of the community's powerful landowner and his ruthless son, the conscientious teacher will have his work cut out for him when he tries to inspire the fearful inhabitants to construct a road that provides access to the outside world. However, is the arrogant master willing to cooperate?
