Stories from Lobos Creek (1984)

Nine interwoven short stories centering on the same neighborhood in San Francisco. A woman who goes into a fallout shelter just before all out nuclear war comes out ten years later to discover there has been no war. A young man walks along the creek remembering the wargames he used to play.
