Kosmas Stournos, a well-intentioned and kind-hearted countryman, arrives in Athens and falls head over heels in love with Eleni--the rich and beautiful daughter of his boss and self-made businessman, Pelopidas. However, the competition is fierce, and out of the blue, another suitor arrives--the pampered, Boulis--who dreams of getting married to Eleni. Now, Kosmas has to win the respect of Eleni's strict father, against all odds. Are Kosmas and Eleni meant to be together?
