Lohues Gets the Blues (2003)

A funny, moving adventure of a Dutch musician to get blues musicians from to USA to come to the Netherlands to the famous International North Sea Jazz Festival to perform songs in his Dutch dialect. From the start it all goes wrong, and Dutch singer/songwriter Daniel Lohues really gets the blues. With remarkable meetings with Tony Joe White (who wrote hits for Elvis, Tina Turner and Joe Cocker) and blues legend T Model Ford, and a visit to Elvis' first home.
