Loving Children (1984)

A poor family live in a rough area due to the Dad's work related accident, but Mom is always smiling. One day, the Son collapses from a heart problem. While trying to raise money for the surgery, the Mom overdoes; so Dad works from his wheelchair until he collapses. The Sister quits school to work as a maid, and writes a story that wins a magazine contest. News of their tragedy goes nationwide and donations pour in. The live broadcast of the award ceremony happens as word of the boy's surgery success spreads through the neighborhood.
