Françoise, a young nurse, married to Christian, a wealthy industrialist, disabled from war and sexual impotent, feels very attracted to Raoul, husband's son from his first marriage. Her unsatisfied sexual desires find a way out in the arms of Raoul. They maintain a relationship and weave hot carnal relations despite the sickly jealousy of a domestic informer, butler Fernand who languishes from passion for her.
