Sixteen (1943)

A naive teenager faces a distressing reality that instills in her the idea of suicide. Based on the British play Sixteen by Aimée and Philip Stuart. Follows a German film version in 1936 titled The Girl Irene "Das Mädchen Irene" directed by Reinhold Schünzel.
