On pins and needles to finally get to see his beloved younger sister, Aphrodite, graduate medical school--so he, in turn, marry his faithful fiancée, Eleni--Thanassis Papathanassis, an honest and diligent septic tank truck driver, is determined to make his dream come true at all costs. However, much to everyone's chagrin, every time Thanassis gets just a little bit closer to his righteous cause, he finds himself up against a corrupt and sluggish system, an impenetrable and bureaucratic officialdom--and above all--fate itself.
