The Big Trick (1960)

Two wretched Athenians--Miltos Karanasis, a once-successful businessman and now a bankrupt retailer, and Nikos, an equally destitute newlywed--find themselves with a priceless stolen necklace. Without a doubt, knowing how to fence such a rare piece of jewellery would mean that the poor men and their families would never starve again; however, this is a job for real criminals. Now, with the police hot on the trail of the unknown burglar, Miltos and Nikos will have to work fast to make their dreams come true. Nevertheless, are they willing to sacrifice their friendship, and above all, their souls, for a hearty slice of happiness?
