Shake Hands and Make Up (1971)

During the German Occupation of Greece, two friends and soon-to-be relatives do their part in the fight against the Nazis. George Dimoulis and Filio Apostolou flee to the rugged countryside and the mountains, while Filio's brother, Christos Apostolou, stays behind to continue the fight as an officer of the Greek Army. However, during the Civil War, George and Christos find themselves on opposite sides. On the battlefield, the two former friends become sworn enemies, holding leading positions in the Democratic and National Army. Then, George is arrested and taken to military court.
