The Island of Love (1960)

During one of his usual stints in jail, Alexis, a shameless con artist, has a chance encounter with Andreas, an inexperienced young man serving time for not paying off his debts. As one thing leads to another, cunning Alexis discovers that Andreas has inherited an uninhabited, rocky islet, and without delay, concocts a lucrative, fool-proof plan to get rich without breaking a sweat. Then, after their release, an affluent but unsuspecting American and his statuesque daughter express interest in acquiring the barren rock, and for once, Lady Luck seems to be on their side. However, what happens if love gets in the way of the crook's ambitious scheme?
