Winning a Wife (1921)

The young viscount of Savigny owns a racing stable and is in love with Nelly, the daughter of his trainer. Out of jealousy, the nephew of the viscount kidnaps the jockey who is to ride the race's favorite. The missing jockey is replaced by an incompetent one and the horse is beaten, which causes the ruin of its owner. However, the latter manages to unmask and confound the culprit. His horse wins the next race and the viscount wealth is restored.
