Song of the World (1965)

In Haute-Provence, two clans of rival peasants clash throughout the four seasons of a year. A young woodcutter, gone to the Rebeillard country to cut down trees, has not given a sign of life for several months. Anxious about this long absence, his father went off to look for him.
