D-ale carnavalului (1958)

Nae Girimea, a hairdresser from a Bucharest brick of the late nineteenth century, finds a new mistress in the person of Didina. This will obscure the mad jealousy of her soul-mistress, Mita Baston, and the violent Pampon, Didina's official lover.
