Brooklyn Orchid (1942)

Taxicab company owners Tim McGuerin and Eddie Corbett rescue Lucy Gibbs from a suicide attempt and she insists on placing her life and destiny in the hands of her two rescuers. From there, the two men try to keep their guardianship of the blonde young rescuee from Tim's socially ambitious wife, Sadie McGuerin, and Eddie's fiancée Mabel Cooney.
