Blackmailer (1936)

An inept Police Inspector Killian (Paul Hurst) is assigned to investigate a blackmail case in which an equally inept amateur detective, Peter Corwin (William Gargan) is also working on the case. Joan Rankin (Florence Rice) supplies the romance.
