Having lived a life in selfishness, young Prince Adam is cursed by a mysterious enchantress to having the appearance of a monstrous beast. His only hope is to learn to love a young woman and earn her love in return in order to redeem himself. Ten years later, his chance shows itself when a young maiden named Belle (Paige O'Hara) offers to take her ill father Maurice's (Rex Everhart's) place as his prisoner. With help from the castle's enchanted staff, Belle learns to appreciate her captor and immediately falls in love with him. Back in the village however, unscrupulous hunter Gaston (Richard White) has his own plans for Belle.

Maurice's belt is removed from his pants, his underwear is shown as he accidentally moons the viewers, although it is played for laughs.

In a brief scene, we see the Beast in a bathtub and then drying up with no clothes on (he's fur covered). Humorous, but not sexual.

A scene which may be seen as sexual harassment by some viewers: Gaston proposes to Belle aggressively, chasing her around a cabin, and he pins her against a door and tries to kiss her; then she opens the door he is leaning on, and he falls out and tumbles into a mud puddle and he becomes very angry and humiliated. Gaston later forces Belle to marry him which she tells him no, he then threatens to send her father to an insane asylum as bribery.

There are several statues of men that reveal bare chests, abdomens and legs. We later see paintings of cherubs with bare chests, abdomens, buttocks and backs and statues of cherubs with bare chests, abdomens and legs.

The trio of girls who love Gaston show heavy cleavage and have bouncy breasts in the opening song.

Female characters often reveal cleavage. For instance during the opening song, a brief shot of a beautiful maiden with strawberry-blonde hair and big voluptuous breasts teases a flirting and ogling food vendor (who looks too old for her) by flaunting her ample cleavage in front of him just to rile up the jealousy of his homely wife behind him who bonks her husband on the head with a rolling pin as the maiden walks of grinning while her chest bounces.

Three blonde, beautiful and busty young sisters in revealing dresses act flirtatiously around Gaston in several scenes and in one scene they surround him while he sits in a chair one at his shoulder, one seated next to him and one on the floor with her hands resting on his knee. Later on, viewers see Gaston lifting them up in the air by their wooden bench and drops them on LeFou, we can briefly see their undergarments.

A mob member comes out of a cupboard dressed in drag, wearing a woman's bra and pantaloons with a wig and lipstick on (he runs away screaming).
