Jasmine is a beautifully unique girl. She walks around in bright red boots and has this amazing theory on elephants, and how she's positive that they're psychic. But her uniqueness and out of this world ideas comes with a price. Kids her age don't seem to understand her, and even her best friend is beginning to isolate from her. She feels alone until she meets Faryal. Faryal's a bit older, wiser and a lot more accepting of her new friend, but she's Muslim, and according to Jasmine's father, that's a problem. Deep down Jasmine knows that the only person who seems to understand her at that moment is Faryal, and she refuses to let their friendship slip away so easily. "Falling Into Places" is a short film about a friendship surrounded by war, heartbreak, discrimination, and hope.
