Dula (2018)

Abdul grew up in Brooklyn, Cape Town. He spent his formative years breaking rules and by the age of 15 he was part of the infamous 28s gang. in 2012, whilst out partying with his friends in Brooklyn, he got into a fight on the street and the tussle ended in his opponent being stabbed to death. Abdul was subsequently convicted of murder and sent to prison at Drakenstein Correctional Facility. Whilst on the inside he found the sport of boxing, which changed the course of his life forever. This is his story.
