His only daughter, Setsuko died in an accident, and his gran-daughter Natsu left home to live with her couple, leaving only Hitoshi in Kimoto's house. His wife has also already left this world. Living alone, time passes more slowly than expected, and Hitoshi, who no longer has the desire to do household chores, has been eating only za-soba noodles from a convenience store. Just when she thought she had finally found happiness, Natsu loses her boyfriend, Kazuma Soeno, in a car accident.
