Gift of the Magi (2017)

Christmas Eve found Della with only $1.87. Della. Della decides to sell her long hair to buy Jim a Christmas gift. Della is paid 20 dollars for her hair. She buys Jim a watch chain to hold his heirloom watch. Jim wants to buy the combs for Della's hair for her for Christmas but cannot afford them. Jim sells the watch to buy the combs. The first Christmas gift tradition was started by the Magi or three wise men who brought gifts to the babe in the manger. (adapted from text by O. Henry)
