The Harlem Poet

After the death of the mother he lovingly cared for, a young man from Harlem decides to finally begin showcasing his poetry by immersing himself in the vibrant underground art scene on NY's Lower East Side. Just as he starts to find a new family there his world begins to fall apart as the AIDS epidemic cruelly blossoms and begins to take away the people he loves.
