Clarksville 1937 was an idyllic little town built on tobacco money. A young sports editor from the Leaf Chronicle, the local newspaper, buys the first affordable sixteen-millimeter camera from the Keystone Camera Company. Charles W. Crow begins to film the city. Eighty years later, the story is retold by his sons, Chris and Charles Crow, Jr.
