The Awakening (2018)

The Awakening is a Psychological Thriller focusing on the events of a group of friends. A secret emerges from the past to haunt the protagonist. The story is told through the POV of Jacob Parker, a shy teenager with a disturbing family history who is trying to make his way in the world. Jacob has found a sense of belonging in a band of misfits that he calls friends. After a weekend in Jacob's world, they will soon come to realize how fragile sanity can be, as they experience the first-hand history repeating itself.
