Kayla (2015)

Kayla is a mildly autistic teen whose Mother, Lisa, dies from a heart attack. Kayla doesn't know how to react to the loss. When Kayla's Father is unable to cope, Kayla's older sister, Olive, takes on the burden of the loss of their mother. The new responsibility is overwhelming to Olive and she ultimately contemplates suicide, but is convinced not to go through with it, when Kayla shows the surprising ability to help and be present for Olive.
