Without "Pilot", no Asterix, Tanguy and Laverdure, Petit Nicolas, Blueberry, Achille Talon, Valerian, Rubrique-à-Brac, Masked Cucumber, Grand Duduche or Philemon. This newspaper, born in 1959, was, under the instigation of René Goscinny, Albert Uderzo and Jean-Michel Charlier, the crucible of modern comics. A weekly reference magazine for the baby boomer generation, "Pilote" is also an offbeat and humorous reflection of the Glorious Thirty Years period.
