The Missing (2015)

A famous Christian director, who suffered from great distress over the death of his wife and his son, started to question his religious belief. The director is shooting a film by interviewing several Chinese intellectuals from all walks of life on "the missing". In the final section, the film requires an androgynous actor(-ess), and they found a nonbeliever, MeiLin. On the set, MeiLin started declaiming the Bible. By the end of the filming, the director found his redemption. Over the course of filming, MeiLin stepped on a journey to know God.
