The Origins of Music (2016)

The Origins of Music is the biological story of Human Musicality. Through this journey, guided by four of the most prestigious researchers in the field, we discover that Music is not a unified entity; it is rather a collection of capabilities that in humans have come together in a unique way. Combining different cinematic languages, the movie examines the influence that these musical traits have had in the shaping of our species, their function in past and present societies, as well as their correlation with other animals.
