What is the meaning of life at today's Japanese university? School friends Shibihara, Ito, Tachibana, and Nagai seem to have days that come to life only in their continuing pick-up basketball games, while their classes have become places of boredom and disengagement. We learn their different personalities on the court, from cheerfulness to power, but is this all there is to life? What has happened in their lives to leave them suspended in their youth?
