Aahat (1982)

A young engineer Faraz is forced to do odd jobs as he meets and falls in love with Samina, a girl from a wealthy family. Initially Samina mistakes him for a rich businessman but funny sequence of events discloses Faraz's realty eventually. As Faraz goes abroad for further education and a job, he promises Samina to return in five years. However, he suddenly looses contact with Samina and comes back clueless after a few years. He finds out that Samina was forced by her late father to get married to a doctor, and she had to oblige because of her father's heart problems. A dejected Faraz asks Samina to meet him one last time over a hilltop but things take a dramatic turn from thereon. Faraz falls down the hill to lose his memory and Samina escapes from there thinking that she has killed him.
