Three Experiments (2010)

This fascinating black and white film uses a documentary style to examine the dysfunctional relationship between a young boy and his emotionally withdrawn father. The man is obsessively interested in measuring things and constantly performs complex, but pointless 'experiments' helped by his son in the hope of getting love, or just attention, in return. Unfortunately, he receives neither.
