Schlingel (2016)

Ben is a 13 year old child from a small and provincial city in Israel. It is his first year of high school and the new situation between all the new pupils appears to be aggressive and threatening for him. Ben is a delicate and introverted child, who uses to hide in the shade of his strong, colorful and over-protecting mother, Irit. Another morning in high school when Ben is not allowed to get inside the class because of his new wild haircut. Irit comes over, very angry for being late to her work for stupid reasons, and tries to solve the situation. When she's giving up with arguing, the only compromise that has found is asking Ben to wear a pink hat that the vice- principal found in her office to cover his haircut. Ben is embarrassed to wear this hat and asks his mother to take him with her. However, for the first time in his life, Irit asks Ben to handle the situation by himself and she leaves him there alone. from this moment the day turns into a slippery slope.
