These sentiments are not unique to Brooklyn Tech; they are expressed by students around the nation by people of all ages and all genders. Ironically, what began as a documentary about students' rights to express themselves, this quickly morphed into an issue of censorship. This producer's first amendment rights were violated when the school rescinded approval to publish this documentary after urging and rushing her to produce it.
