Sacred Cod: The Fight for a New England Tradition (2016)

SACRED COD is a feature-length documentary about the collapse of the historic cod fishery in New England, delving into the impact of overfishing, climate change, and government policies on fishermen and the fish. Ultimately, it looks at the prospect of a region built on cod having no cod left to fish. The film, which premiered at the Camden International Film Festival in Maine, was acquired by the Discovery Channel and broadcast in the spring of 2017.
