Meltdown

MELTDOWN, Based on True Events, is the current-day version of THE CHINA SYNDROME and ERIN BROCKOVICH. This drama reveals what happened during the 1979 nuclear meltdown at Three Mile Island in Pennsylvania. The story follows Ellie, who lived through the disaster as a teenager for five days. When Ellie returns home on book tour decades later, she discovers the high rate of cancer and deaths amongst her former classmates and neighbors. While she searches for answers, she's blindsided by the diagnosis of a brain tumor. As Ellie struggles for her own life, she is even more determined to find the truth about TMI and solutions for safe energy.
