Schnurlos Verschwunden (2015)

Felix, 26, works for a consulting company and lives for his career. When his boss asks him to close a deal that exploits a local Argentinean firm, he jumps at the chance - this opportunity means: up or out. Because of the time difference, the meeting via Skype must take place at midnight German time. As he prepares to make the call from home, Felix notices his WIFI connection does not work. He begins an odyssey through his apartment building, asking neighbors, whom he never bothered speaking to in the past, for a signal. Every step takes Felix closer to his true moral character, and he realizes what a capitalistic tool he has become. The closer he gets to achieving his goal, the further he distances himself from it.
