Double thought process has been used in the film. Moreover, loosely based on 'The Cold Heaven' by W.B.Yeats, the film follows the 'stream of consciousness' genre, tries to touch the workings of a mind jarred by misfortunes one upon another, and how it obliterates them at long last. The actual poem has several allusions to Christianity. But, the film, being very loosely connected to the plot of the poem, is very optimistic in spirit. It shows how a man can, and must, rise even after experiencing several buffets of fortune. It shows how one must hope even when there is no apparent hope. It shows that life goes on, come what may. The film has several layers of meaning if observed minutely.
