Animitas, 2014 (2015)

On January 1st, 2015, Pepe Torres and Francisco Rios Anderson were asked by Christian Boltanski to capture the large scale outdoor installation process of his roadside memorial "Animitas or the Music of Souls" displayed in Chile's Atacama Desert, resulting in a 12-hour marathon of uninterrupted work, using a Blackmagic Cinema Camera. It's this 12-hour-film which was first exhibited at the Biennale di Venezia 2015.
