Battle of the Beaches

On a cold night in 1963, Arthur returns home from the violence of the Battle of the Beaches at Brighton. His arrival, however, is stunted by both his parents. What follows is a clash of family and domesticity as the ways of the old and new meet after one of the most infamous events of the 1960s. Arthur, having despaired of his family situation, heads out to meet his gang at the pub. What follows is a discussion of friendship and violence; and, ultimately, a night that will not be easily forgotten as old and new friends collide.
