More than fifty years ago, life in the small village of Torrelobatón, in the province of Valladolid, Spain, was turned upside down, when a Hollywood blockbuster, produced by Samuel Bronston, rolled into town. In 1961, its inhabitants became participants and witnesses of El Cid, a film directed by Anthony Mann.
