Auditor (2014)

Wei nan returns home after being expelled from college abroad. He enrols in a local university in his home town where his father works. In his sociology class, he meets a charismatic western educated professor Hai, who tells Wei nan to close the text book and learn from what surrounds him in modern China. He tells Wei nan to write an essay based on the cases around him. Wei nan begins the project and soon realises the society he lives in may not be what he thought.
