Sira Disi Insanlar (2015)

In the course of the film we meet the following local characters: Metin Akinci (aged 56) has constructed a home-made cable car which runs on links between two nearby hills. It is very dangerous. But he has used it for years and for him it is a normal mode of travel. Bilal Atatsoy (aged 86) built his home on the side of a cliff and likes to live this way. He has added another room to the very edge and now uses this as his bedroom. Every time he wakes up he feels as though he is suspended in the sky. Seref Kocek (aged 36) has been communicating with whistles for years, carrying on an old tradition in Kuskoy. Gungor Gormen (aged 55), is a Turkish worker from Germany, who has joined the local festival which celebrates Horon, a type of circular folk dance which is native to this region of Turkey. Iwasaki Naki (aged 33) is a famous painter who has also joined the local Horon festival. Ahmet Gul (aged 24), Necati Enis Gul (aged 24) and Fahrettin Aytemiz (aged 21) engage in wild downhill races using home-made wooden carts.
