Secrets of the Sun is an evocative and visually/aurally rich cinematic exploration begun 23-years ago that delves into the making of the unique and transformational solar spectrum environmental artwork created by American artist Peter Erskine, with a special focus on the inaugural exhibition of Secrets of the Sun at Trajan's Markets in the Roman Forum in 1992. Stunning visuals by filmmaker Michael W. Barnard and an evocative score by sound artist Bruce Odland combine for a memorable film experience. The film utilizes the original 16mm shot throughout the early '90s along with newly shot High Definition footage that brings the story up to date with an unexpected and moving final scene.
