Low-income outskirts of Brasília, Brazil, - 1968, during the military dictatorship. While the country undergoes a period of constant oppression, Sonia, an 8-year-old girl, lives a daily life of heartbreak as the marriage of Madalena and Francisco, her parents, is coming to an end. A family falling apart before the eyes of a child. Oppression in the streets and at home. A reality... an analogy.
