In the Lap of Ganga (2014)

This is a story about a poor family comprising-two brothers and their father (a poor rickshaw puller) and their mother. Marred by poverty, both are left with no option but to earn their livelihood by begging on the ghats of Varanasi. Both beg the whole day and at the end of the day their duty is to write on a board how much they managed to earn the whole day. The dos not is impressed by his younger son who manages to earn more everyday. But, Dipu fails to garner more because he believes in honesty. He does not like begging and wants to learn. His mother too supports education. but his father don't like it.
