Hiding Place (2021)

Of all the places to encounter a stranger, under a table at a wedding isn't necessarily the first one that comes to mind. 'Hiding Place' is a short film which takes place almost exclusively in this bizarre location where wedding guests Stevie (Rebecca Eve) and Jake (Joss J. MacDonald) are flung together. Written and filmed at a time where even being at a wedding, let alone being in close proximity with someone under a table, was completely inconceivable; 'Hiding Place' is a wistful celebration of these chance encounters. In a moment where we've all forgotten and then had to quickly re-learn how to be around strangers, this short film takes a longer look at that exchange and how, in risking it all, you could just find something amazing.
