Feng Zheng (kite) (2023)

A man finds himself at the end of his rope and goes to the roof of his apartment building to end it all. As he is building up the courage to jump, he is disturbed by a little girl engrossed in her video game. In an attempt to make her leave, they begin an awkward conversation, soon realizing that there is beauty in life which has all been but forgotten in our modern technological world. He gives her a gift which once belonged to his daughter, now lost. He teaches her how to fly the kite as she challenges him to not forget his dream of becoming a musician. Through their unlikely friendship they both learn to enjoy what they have, and together learn to re-live again.
