Os Herdeiros do Bairro (2019)

Invited by the Dominican Sisters of the Rosary, we had the opportunity to immerse ourselves in a parallel world that cohabits with the suburbs of many big cities. The demolitions had started and they happened at random, leaving behind an almost war-like scenario.This was an amazing set, with over 40 years of illegal construction, we wanted to capture this moment. It was only afterward that we met the heirs of this community, and were blessed with their generosity and stories. We were welcomed into their houses, memories, and lives. We became part of their community with the great responsibility of telling their unsung history. The stories of real families, their children, and their dreams.
