We Met in Quarantine (2020)

Rob and Jess lived across the street from one another for years. Both of them consumed with work and life's inherent commitments, never truly taking notice of one another. Until one day, a very unique circumstance presented itself: a global pandemic, the first in over a century. Both of their lives' are upended: Rob loses his job and Jess's fear of contracting the virus is wholly consuming. Yet, amidst the uncertainty and isolation created by social distancing during the pandemic, one human need, innate in us all, prevails: a desire for connection. Without the distractions of life's daily routine, Rob's attention turns toward helping his neighbors in this time of need. One in particular catches his eye, Jess, his longtime neighbor. It is Rob's creativity, which hearkens back to the days of in-person courtship, that eventually allows Jess to let her guard down. Often, the unpredictable aspects of life are the catalyst for growth, change, or even love. For Rob and Jess, it is the serendipitous nature of life, in this case, a global pandemic, that sparks a potential love connection.
