Round-trips between the satellite's eye and the micro camera's eye allow us to better understand the conditions that make the Earth, the only habitable planet, the only one that shelters such a biodiversity. As it rises, the aurora borealis reveals the presence of the atmosphere, which acts as a protective shield. Man stands out among all these species thanks to the imprint he leaves on the landscape. Certain gatherings such as the Burning Man festival or the great pilgrimages are of such a magnitude that they too can be spotted in space. Almost everywhere on the planet, the soil bears the scars of the exploitation of natural resources by man. Satellite images also bear witness to climate change and its dramatic consequences. But these same images can also be a source of hope.
